A village in Cheshire is home to the most expensive street in the North of England, according to a report by LLoyds Bank.

Homes on Congleton Road in Alderley Edge sell on average for £2,304,000 – up from an average of £1,985,000 in 2017.

The second most expensive street is Legh Road in Knutsford (£2,059,000) followed by Withinlee Road in Prestbury (£2,032,000). Then Hill Top (£1,874,000) and East Downs Road (£1,862,000), both in Altrincham.
