The director of new film Coco says a lot of work went in to getting the right look for the skeletons in the family animation.

The movie, which is out today, is set during Mexico’s Day of the Dead celebrations – and sees a young boy meeting some of his ancestors.

Lee Unkrich says they were mindful to ensure the characters were relatable – despite not being alive.
