A Macclesfield charity, has received recognition for its work supporting young people and adults with autism

The volunteer team at a Macclesfield charity, has received recognition for its work supporting young people and adults with autism locally with a Queens Award for Voluntary Service.

The ceremony was presided over by the Lord Lieutenant of Cheshire, Sir David Briggs KBE, and attended by many of Space4Autism’s service users, volunteers and staff. The award was given in recognition of the charity’s commitment to providing advice and support to children, and their families, through support group meetings, workshops and clubs for young people.
