Each local commercial radio station in the UK has requirements in respect of its music and local content, such as news etc.  These requirements are set out in the station “Format”, a document issued by Ofcom, the UK media regulator.
The public file contains details of elements Ofcom regulate over, such as music track, local news etc.  It is intended to give you a better understanding of our output and what we are doing for our local community.

We are locally programmed 24 hours a day.
During weekday daytime Monday to Friday Imagine FM is fully live with no automation
During Saturday daytime period, 9 hours of our programming is automated.
During Sunday daytime period, 9 hours of our programming is automated.

 

Over the year 104.9 Imagine FM is involved with various events from carnivals to outside broadcast.
Also we pride ourselves on working closely with various charities based in the South Manchester area, with the main one being The Together Trust, and once again we are to be broadcasting live from the the trust festival in June.
Throughout the year we will be supporting the charities at various events, including appeals, fund raising events and gala evenings.  Recently presenters have raised money for our charities through abseils and marathons.

We are the station to give you memories every morning at 10am, where you can relive your youth with our top ten at tens.  We also bring you the best way to unwind each night from 9pm with late night love.
We have recently started to run regular events including Girlie show, Baby show, Christmas show & Wedding Show from the hallmark hotel attended on average by 1,000 people
