During weekday daytime Monday to Friday 104.9 Imagine FM is fully live apart from 1 hour of our programming which is automated. During Saturday daytime period, 3 hours of our programming is automated During Sunday daytime period, 4 hours of our programming is automated

We are locally programmed from 6am till 7pm every weekday. On Saturday From 6am till 6pm and Sunday from 8am till 4pm.

Over this year we are to be working with various charities, with the three main ones being Christies, Together Trust & St Ann's Hospice. Throughout the year we will be supporting the charities at various event, include the Christmas toy appeal, Charity golf days, and our mid morning presenter Hanna Sillitoe will be running in the Manchester 10K run to raise money for Christies.

Helen is the breakfast journalist on 104.9 Imagine FM. Formerly she was a freelancer for UTV at stations around the North West. After completing a BA degree course in journalism she decided she wanted to work at 104.9 Imagine FM. Born and bred in Timperley, she prides herself in knowing everything there is to know about South Manchester.

Hi, I'm Rachel and I'm the newest member of the 104.9 Imagine FM newsteam. I've joined the newsroom permanently after freelancing at radio stations across the North West for 7 months - so you might have heard me already!

Hi, I'm Richard - I'm fairly new to 104.9 Imagine FM and, born and bred in Greater Manchester, I'm looking forward to bringing you the local and national stories that matter to you and your lives.
I've come back to the North West after a few years living in London and joined Imagine after freelancing at radio stations around the region - I couldn't stay away from the old home patch!

We are the station to give you the stress busters @7, 80's@8 & 90's@9 Monday to Thursday, also everyday at 10am you can relive your youth with our retro countdowns and top ten at tens.

Back in March last year 104.9 Imagine FM recognised the achievements of local people in the Pride of South Manchester awards at the Hilton Hotel. And we will be doing this again this year. Our drive time presenter Paul Willett took part in a charity abseil down the Renaissance hotel in Manchester to raise money for our station charity The Together Trust.

Hanna Sillitoe will also be running the Manchester 10K run in May to raise money for Chrities Hospital in Manchester.

We have also run our first Wedding exhibition with Jonh Lewis in March. It was a huge sucess and are due to run another later this year. Keep checking the website for more information soon.
