A nurse from Stockport is planning to run the london Marathon to help raise £20,000 for charity – despite suffering with arthritic knees.

Nurse Kelly Foster has already completed the race twice and is preparing to go through the pain barrier again on Sunday, April 28.

The Romiley mum who is also Ward Manager at St Ann’s hospice lost eight stone after realising that as a nurse she needed to show her patients the benefits of a healthier lifestyle.
