Cheshire East Council says it’s reviewing provision for adult social care in the region

Cheshire East Council says it’s reviewing provision for adult social care in the region – which could affect around 40,000 residents.

The local authority says although it is spending more money to try to ensure the ageing population can stay in there own homes longer, it’s also facing financial cuts from central government.

The review will look at ways in which changes can be made to best serve the future of care at home, residential care and respite care.
