A Coronation Street star has been out to lend a hand opening of a new cafe at Stepping Hill

A Coronation Street star has been out to lend a hand opening a new catering venue at a Stockport Hospital.

Stepping Hill’s new dementia cafe was visited by Richard Hawley who plays factory owner Johnny Connor in the soap.

Richard, whose father died from the condition says its important sufferers get the care they need and the new cafe is a fantastic example of that.
