A body has been found after a woman told police she’d killed a man several years ago.
The discovery was made in a garden of a house in Reddish.
The 63 year old woman made the claim after walking into a police station on Sunday.
She said she’d buried the man’s body in a garden in Reddish near Stockport – and was arrested on suspicion of murder.
Last night, detectives revealed they’d found human remains – thought to be male – following a search.
A post mortem’s due to take place today.
Officers stress the investigation is in its early stages – and say many questions still need answers.
